ODI 12c Installation ERROR :Unsupported platform (unable to determine the startup directory location Hi EveryoneJust try to install ODI 12c but it fails. But after selecting "FULL" option during installation everything went OK. Before, I installed Custom options, and selected only "JDeveloper.", that's why it was a problem.
#64 bit java 1.7.0 virtual machine full version#
I resolved the problem: just install FULL version of jdevstudio, not "CUSTOM". It means there is a problem with my configuration, not with JDeveloper. I didn't see anything about it in the release notes. I just tried it on my install (JDev 11.1.2 Windows 7 64-bit using Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.0-b11, mixed mode)) and did not see any such log messages.ĭo you have access to support ()? If you do, I'd suggest you file an SR (or search to see if there is a known issue). None of the attached controllers handled the action. SEVERE: Error during handleEvent on action 'HTTP Analyzer' (id=454). Thanks - so maybe the installer should use this this command in the next release for the JDeveloper iconĮrror with HTTP Analyzer in JDeveloper 11.1.2.0.0 Just installed a new JDeveloper 11.1.2.0.0, and when I try to run HTTP Analyzer, I always receive an error (in Messages Log window) Hi,appears that if you use the following executable to start JDeveloper, the second window doesn't open\jdeveloper\jdev\bin\jdev64W.exeFrank Forcing locale to en_US.But when I close it the JDeveloper window is closed too.

Thanks Frank - i missed that a 64bit installer exist as the first installer does shows only windows installer and not 32bit installer! One last question:After the start remains the calling command window additional to the JDeveloper window, is this the wanted behavior? As this use the same icon in the task bar this leads to wrong switch to this windows instead of the JDeveloper window. The calling command window shows only this information:10:48:20 AM .LauncherUtil throttleLocaleINFO: Locale de_DE is not supported by this product. I've JDK7 (64bit) installed and this worked okay.Frank Torsten, which installer did you use? I used the Windows 64 installer and started it from the command line as administrator. JDev 12c: Unable to create an instance of the Java Virtual Machine - JDeveloper and ADF Hi!I have installed JDev 12c on windows7 64 bit and try to start it the first time and get this error. The path inside the message point to \oracle_common\jdk\jre\bin\client\ is installed a jre, whichs version is:\oracle_common\jdk\jre\bin>java -versionjava version "1.7.0_15"Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_15-b33)Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 23.7-b01, mixed mode)In the calling batch script I see following output:Error occured during initialization of VMCould not reserve enougs space for object heapAnybody has the same problem?Kind regardsTorsten
